Indiana Personal Stylist Ideas for Fall and Winter 2024

Denim
Denim is still a strong classic for every season, and 2024 is no exception. Consider trying out denim on denim in the coming months. Just be sure to use different washes of denim instead of matching them. Denim maxis are another good choice.

Fringe
Fringe is a fun addition this fall and winter, and we’ll see it with nylon, wooly plaids, suede, leather, and even thin metallic. It’s a fun detail that makes outfits stand out for everyday or evening wear.

Short Suits
Building off the popularity of Capri and Bermuda shorts this summer and spring, suit shorts are another trend to consider. For the right woman, short suits can look great. But be aware this style can also cut off legs and make them appear short.

Jewelry
With a minimal style investment, jewelry can update your wardrobe and add spice to your outfits. For fall and winter, bold earrings are popular. These include very long earrings with bold colors filled with gold, silver, etc. (Petite ladies should avoid this trend!) Chokers are back as well, and basically everyone can wear them.

Bags
Carrying your bag — no matter the size — is another style trend, as is the lady-like bag with a delicate handle that you hold on to demurely! Also, bucket bags and golden edge bags are good options to consider in the coming seasons. Golden edge bags have a gold metallic trim or are entirely gold metallic.

Shoes
Slingbacks and tall boots continue to be popular. Many of us added some tall boots to our shoe wardrobe last year. I absolutely love the length and slimness they can give you if you’re not terribly tall. Also, if your legs are shorter, a taller boot lengthens you! Knee-high and over-the-knee boots are chic options to consider.
Shoes have some new looks as well. High tops in sneakers and boots with fringe, fluff, or fur are in style.

Capes and Hats
Capes will continue to appear this season in coats, sheer fabric, and knits. Scarves worn as hats or tight swimsuit cap “beanie” hats are other accessories to explore.
