Summer is officially here, so it’s time to review some makeup staples that will keeping you glowing and pretty as the temps rise!
I recently recommended Bobbi Brown’s Bronze Shimmer Brick, and received glowing reports. My client said, ” I am obsessed with it, and wear it every day.” She is fair skinned with dark hair and eyes, so the pinky-brown brick shades of color are perfect for her. She can also wear a little shimmer: try it, and if it emphasizes wrinkles, use a bronzer without shimmer instead.
Another product I love is Clarin’s sunscreen UV 40. It is light, and I wear it on top of my moisturizer. You will love it, and it’s very effective against the sun’s harmful rays. It also doesn’t smell or have a funny taste like some sunblocks do.
Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer is great, too. I like it in the summer in place of my usual foundation. There are there three formulas, one gives your skin a dewy look. I use the SPF 20 formula. It is light coverage, but used with your bronzer on top and little gloss and mascara, it’s all you need to keep looking great.
For lips, I like Maybelline’s Baby Lips. There are several bright colors, and it like the subtle shine.
