It’s that time of year. Many of us are on spring break, or about to go on a spring getaway…It’s time to amp up our accessories or buy some inexpensive swimsuits, coverups, shorts, T’s and other fun additions.
I always like going to Target to buy some of these items, especially swimsuits. Then I don’t feel guilty if I don’t keep them for more than a couple of years.
What I always love is the Panama Hat — I have a couple of them, and I always take them on vacation since I like to keep the sun off my face and hair.
Some good makeup additions are bronzer (love the Benefit line); tinted moisturizer; cream blush (Maybelline); and waterproof mascara. Origins has a smooth cream eye shadow, too. Bobbie Brown and Stilla have creamy eye pencils you put on, smudge and go–please venture out beyond black with teal, navy, plum, olive and taupe! Don’t forget your tinted lip balm and sun block as well. I like the liquid sunblock forms because they are less pasty and don’t add white streaks on your face: Neutrogenia has a great one.

Enjoy and relax, people–you deserve it!
