I have been very busy every summer doing closet cleanses. It must be the time of year or clients feel the need to clean, but this is when I am busy with this task. I never do a closet audit without out basic info though, or really how could I justify my recommendations?
The following is a report I did for a client after 3-4 appointments cleaning out her closet. (She had a very big closet).

Suggestions:
- Avoid buying turtlenecks and funnel necks
- Avoid buying any more cream sweaters
- Avoid large cut sweaters and extremely narrow or cropped pants
Items Needed: - Add some casual, well-made T-shirts to layer or wear alone in fall colors and neutrals (WHBM and Evereve both have great layering T’s in the back of their stores near the dressing rooms)
- Cropped jackets that plain and do not have peplums, lots of pockets or extremely high neck (Hit at the hipbone or right below the waist at a flattering place) These type tops will go with the wider leg casual pants and jeans.
- Nice cut jean is the Galveston from JM McLaughlin (although it is not curvy)
- Open neck dresses, sweaters, jackets are essential in v-neck, round neck or tank neck.
- Consider belts.
- Summer sandal in a gold or bronze metallic that is delicate
